Intimacy
Improves the initial Attributes of Children and their Attribute growth as they level up.
Lovers are one of the core progression systems in Game of Vampires. Their Intimacy and Attraction affect Children, Affinity generation and the development of Wardens connected to them through Scarlet Bonds.
Each Lover has two main stats: Intimacy and Attraction. They are developed separately and affect different parts of the game.
Intimacy affects Children. Higher Intimacy gives Children higher initial Attributes and improves the Attributes they gain as they level up.
Attraction affects how much Affinity a Lover gains from Dates. Affinity Points can then be spent on Scarlet Bonds, providing Attribute bonuses to the related Warden.

Higher Attraction increases the amount of Affinity gained from each Date.

A Date selects a random Lover and increases that Lover’s Affinity Points. A random Date also has a small chance to result in a Child.
Romance lets you spend Diamonds on a specific Lover. It increases the Lover’s Intimacy and Affinity Points and results in a Child.
Gifts can increase either Intimacy or Attraction. This makes it useful to decide which part of a Lover’s progression you actually want to improve before spending limited gifts.
Our separate guides will cover which Lovers deserve your gifts, how to generate Affinity efficiently and which Scarlet Bonds are worth developing first.
