Wardens are one of the most important parts of account development in Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun. One of the most common mistakes beginners make is trying to develop every Warden they obtain at the same time.
At first, this creates the impression of rapid progress: you get a new Warden, invest some resources into them, unlock another one, and repeat. But eventually your resources become spread across dozens of characters, while your account still lacks truly powerful Wardens.
In this guide, we will follow a simple strategy: choose four priority Wardens — one for Strength, Allure, Intellect, and Spirit — and concentrate most of our resources on them.
Who this guide is for
This guide is primarily intended for free-to-play players and moderate spenders.
It is also for players who do not want to dive deeply into the game’s mathematics, compare dozens of Talents themselves, or calculate the efficiency of every possible combination.
Our goal is not to build a theoretically perfect account for years to come, but to give beginners a simple and practical strategy for the early and mid game.
Four well-developed Wardens are enough to create a strong foundation for your account, participate effectively in game activities, and compete for good ranking positions without spreading your limited resources too thin.
The main idea: you do not need to find the four absolute best Wardens in the game. It is much more important to choose four good Wardens early enough and consistently invest your main resources into them.
Later, when you have more resources, unlock rarer characters, and develop a better understanding of the game’s mechanics, you can expand this strategy.
Why exactly four Wardens?
Wardens have four main Attributes:
Strength, Allure, Intellect, and Spirit.
For our strategy, we choose one priority Warden for each Attribute.
This does not mean that you should completely ignore every other character. The game itself will require you to develop other Wardens to some extent, and some characters are valuable because of additional mechanics.
What matters here is how you prioritize limited resources: instead of slightly improving twenty characters, we build four genuinely strong Wardens, each specializing in a different Attribute.
Choosing your main Wardens is only the first step. From there, consistent resource collection and regular participation in daily activities become just as important. Over time, that consistency can influence your account development almost as much as choosing the right characters.
How we choose our main Wardens
The first thing we look at is Talents for the Attribute we need.
The higher the total number of Talent stars in a specific Attribute, the greater the Warden’s potential in that specialization.
For example, when choosing our main Strength Warden, we are primarily interested in their Strength Talents — not the total number of Talent stars across all four Attributes.
But the number of stars is not the only factor. We also consider whether the Warden has an associated Lover, how easy the Warden is to obtain, how difficult it is to unlock their full potential, and their Aura.
And there is an important detail about Auras.
Auras: why you should still collect these Wardens
The four-main-Warden strategy does not mean that every other character is useless.
This is especially important for Wardens with Auras.
Auras should be considered separately from developing the Warden as one of your main characters. A Warden may not be part of your main four, but obtaining them and developing the corresponding Aura group can still benefit your account.
Therefore, developing your four main Wardens and collecting Aura groups are two parallel goals.
Wild Hunt — Talent bonus
The Wild Hunt group consists of:
Rudra, Wotan, Artemis, and Finn.
All four belong to the same Aura group and specialize in Strength, Allure, Intellect, and Spirit respectively.
Collecting all four can provide a combined Aura bonus of +12% to Talents. Their Auras can then be developed further using Macabrian Coins, providing up to another +30%.
However, Rudra, Wotan, Artemis, and Finn do not all have to become your main Wardens.
For example, Alastair may be your main Spirit Warden. Finn still remains valuable because of the Wild Hunt Aura.
There is another advantage: all four members of the Wild Hunt have good specialized Talents themselves.
| Warden | Specialization | Stars |
|---|---|---|
| Rudra | Strength | 9 |
| Wotan | Allure | 9 |
| Artemis | Intellect | 9 |
| Finn | Spirit | 9 |
So part of your main four can easily consist of Wild Hunt Wardens as well.
Monster Noir — Books bonus
The second important group is Monster Noir:
Eddie, Scarlet, Sam, and Grendel.
Collecting all four provides a combined +12% bonus to Books. Their Auras can then be developed further using City Badges, providing up to another +30%.
The same principle applies here: Eddie, Scarlet, Sam, and Grendel do not have to become your main Wardens.
We collect them for their Auras while continuing to invest our main resources into the four Wardens we have chosen.
Completing Aura groups is more realistic than it may seem
Eight additional Wardens may initially seem like a very distant goal. In practice, collecting them is quite realistic if you stay disciplined.
You do not need to complete an entire group immediately. Gradually collect the Wardens you need, and avoid spending the corresponding Coins or Badges on random choices simply because you want another Warden right now.
Your four main Wardens receive your primary resources. At the same time, you collect Aura Wardens for their global bonuses.
Now let’s move on to choosing the main four.
Strength — who should you choose?
| Warden | Strength Talents | Stars | Key feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| William | 6 + 4 + 3 | 13 | Lover, high VIP |
| Aurelia | 6 + 3 + 2 | 11 | Lover, high VIP |
| Harker | 4 + 3 + 2 | 9 | Lover |
| Morien | 4 + 3 + 2 | 9 | Lover |
| Victor | 5 + 4 | 9 | Lover |
| Rudra | 6 + 3 | 9 | Wild Hunt |
Harker and Morien
Both have 9 Strength stars in a 4 + 3 + 2 combination and have associated Lovers.
They are both good candidates for your main Strength Warden. If one of them is already significantly developed together with their Lover, there is usually little reason to replace them with another character who also has nine stars.
Victor
Victor also has 9 Strength stars — 5 + 4, as well as 9 Spirit stars.
It is better to choose one primary specialization for him in advance. Within our strategy, there is no need to invest limited resources into two different Attributes of the same character at the same time.
Rudra
Rudra has 9 Strength stars — 6 + 3 and is also a member of the Wild Hunt.
This makes him especially interesting: by obtaining Rudra for the Aura, you also get an excellent candidate for your main Strength Warden.
William and Aurelia
If your VIP level allows you to consider more expensive characters, there are options with even greater potential.
William has 13 Strength stars, while Aurelia has 11. Both have associated Lovers.
However, William requires VIP 7, while his Lover requires VIP 6. Aurelia becomes available at VIP 5, but her Lover is only available at VIP 8.
For this reason, they are not primary targets for free-to-play players. If the required VIP levels are realistic for you, both become very interesting candidates.
Our recommendation: Rudra / Harker / Morien / Victor.
At higher VIP levels — William / Aurelia.
Allure — who should you choose?
| Warden | Practically available stars | Key feature |
|---|---|---|
| Franco | 9 | Lover |
| Wotan | 9 | Wild Hunt |
| Frederick | 8 | Paid acquisition |
| Gilgamesh | 8 | Login rewards |
Franco
Franco is a simple and straightforward candidate: 9 Allure stars and an associated Lover.
He is a perfectly good choice for your main Allure Warden and can be developed consistently from there.
Wotan
Wotan also has 9 Allure stars, but additionally belongs to the Wild Hunt.
This makes him particularly attractive for our strategy: you get a good main Allure Warden while simultaneously moving closer to the full Talent Aura bonus.
Frederick and Gilgamesh
For the purposes of this guide, we treat both as Wardens with 8 practically accessible Allure stars.
Their potential can be developed further, but unlocking the next part of their progression requires significantly more time and effort. Beginners are better off planning around eight stars.
Frederick is obtained through spending, while Gilgamesh is obtained through login rewards.
Our recommendation: Wotan / Franco.
Alternatives — Frederick / Gilgamesh.
Intellect — who should you choose?
| Warden | Talents | Stars | Key feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thomas | 5 + 3 + 1 | 9 | Lover |
| Artemis | 6 + 3 | 9 | Wild Hunt |
| Nostradamus | 4 + 3 + 1 | 8 | Lover |
| Lawrence | 4 + 3 + 1 | 8 | Lover |
Thomas
Thomas has 9 Intellect stars. The Warden himself is available at VIP 1, while his associated Lover becomes available at VIP 4.
For players with low or moderate spending, he is a good and relatively accessible option.
Artemis
Artemis also has 9 Intellect stars — 6 + 3 and belongs to the Wild Hunt.
As with Rudra and Wotan, this gives us both a good specialized Warden and a member of an important Aura group.
Nostradamus and Lawrence
Both have 8 Intellect stars — 4 + 3 + 1 and associated Lovers.
They are slightly behind the first two candidates in total stars, but if one of them is already well developed together with their Lover, there is no need to start over just for one additional star.
Our recommendation: Artemis / Thomas.
Alternatives — Nostradamus / Lawrence.
Spirit — who should you choose?
| Warden | Talents | Stars | Key feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alastair | 6 + 3 + 1 | 10 | Lover |
| Victor | 5 + 4 | 9 | Lover |
| Hans | 4 + 3 + 2 | 9 | Lover |
| John | 4 + 3 + 2 | 9 | Lover |
| Finn | 6 + 3 | 9 | Wild Hunt |
Alastair
Alastair has 10 Spirit stars — 6 + 3 + 1 and an associated Lover.
For our strategy, he is one of the most obvious candidates for the role of main Spirit Warden.
Finn
Finn has 9 Spirit stars — 6 + 3 and belongs to the Wild Hunt.
Even if Alastair becomes your main Spirit Warden, Finn is still worth obtaining for his Aura.
This is a good example of an important rule: obtaining a Warden and making them one of your four main Wardens are not the same thing.
Hans and John
Both have 9 Spirit stars — 4 + 3 + 2 and associated Lovers.
They are good alternatives to Alastair, especially if one of them is already significantly developed.
Victor
Victor also has 9 Spirit stars, but he is simultaneously a good candidate for Strength.
If Victor is already your main Strength Warden, it is better to choose another character for Spirit.
Our recommendation: Alastair.
Alternatives — Finn / Hans / John / Victor.
I don’t want to analyze anything — who should I develop?
If you just want the simplest possible answer, use this table:
| Attribute | First choices | Alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | Rudra / Harker / Morien | Victor |
| Allure | Wotan / Franco | Frederick / Gilgamesh |
| Intellect | Artemis / Thomas | Nostradamus / Lawrence |
| Spirit | Alastair | Finn / Hans / John / Victor |
At higher VIP levels, additional strong options become available — most notably William and Aurelia for Strength.
At the same time, you do not need to wait for the perfect four.
If a good candidate is already available and has received significant investment, it is usually better to continue developing them than to constantly switch Wardens in search of a small efficiency gain.
A very simple four-Warden setup
If you gradually collect the Wild Hunt, one convenient combination looks like this:
Rudra — Strength
Wotan — Allure
Artemis — Intellect
Alastair — Spirit
Finn is still obtained for the Wild Hunt and contributes to its Aura, but Alastair remains your main Spirit Warden because of his stronger specialization in this Attribute.
This is not the only correct group of four — it is simply a good reference point for players who do not want to constantly recalculate their options.
Useful to know: once you have chosen your main four Wardens, a large part of further progress comes down to collecting resources and repeating the same daily actions. Part of this routine can be automated with a separate third-party bot for Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun.

What about extremely powerful universal Wardens?
There are Wardens in the game with significantly more Talent stars.
| Warden | Strength | Allure | Intellect | Spirit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Diana | 35 | 35 | 35 | 35 |
| Vance | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Damien | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 |
| Poe | 18 | 12 | 18 | 12 |
| Nyx | 9 | 9 | 9 | 9 |
We deliberately do not build this guide around them.
Our goal is to provide a practical and reproducible strategy for regular players without heavy spending, rather than rank every existing character by their maximum theoretical potential.
If one of these Wardens is already available on your account and you are able to develop them properly, it may make sense to reconsider the strategy separately.
Why you shouldn’t invest everything into one universal Warden
Another possible strategy is to take one powerful universal Warden and invest almost all of your resources into that character.
Such a Warden can indeed become much stronger than the rest very quickly. However, there are plenty of game modes where you need several strong characters, not just one.
For beginners, four specialized Wardens therefore provide a more balanced foundation for the account.
This approach is also simple: one main character is responsible for each Attribute, so you always know where the corresponding resources should go.
When four Wardens are no longer enough
The four-Warden strategy is not a rule for the entire game.
We use it during the early and mid game, when resources are limited and mistakes are especially costly.
Over time, you will obtain new Wardens, develop Lovers and Auras, gain more resources, and encounter more complex game activities. At that point, you can gradually expand your main roster.
By then, however, you will understand the game much better and will be able to decide for yourself which Warden your account needs next.
Progress depends on consistency
Choosing the right Wardens and distributing your resources effectively is only part of building a strong account. Consistency matters just as much: daily tasks, reward collection, resource gathering, game activities, and many small repetitive actions all contribute to long-term progress.
Each individual task may seem minor, but over time they add up to a significant part of your account development. The fewer daily rewards and resources you miss, the faster you can develop your chosen Wardens.
The problem is that many of these actions eventually become routine: opening the game every day, repeating the same actions, collecting the same rewards, and completing the same recurring tasks again and again.
This is where a separate third-party bot for Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun can help. It is not the in-game Assistant and not a built-in game feature — it is an independent automation service that works separately from the game itself.
The bot can automatically perform many repetitive actions on your game account: handle daily tasks, collect available rewards and resources, and take care of routine actions that would otherwise need to be repeated manually every day.
This means you can spend your own time on the parts of Game of Vampires that actually require your decisions — developing Wardens, playing events, choosing your strategy, and competing with other players — while the bot handles much of the daily routine.
You control the strategy — the bot handles the routine. You still decide which Wardens to develop, where to invest your resources, and which events to focus on.
You can try the external Game of Vampires bot free for 7 days. That gives you enough time to see what it can do on your own account and how much daily time it can save.

The most important things to remember
If you do not want to dive into the mathematics of Game of Vampires, follow a simple approach:
one main Warden for Strength, one for Allure, one for Intellect, and one for Spirit.
Concentrate your main limited resources on these four.
When choosing them, look primarily at the number of accessible Talent stars in the required Attribute, whether they have an associated Lover, and how accessible the Warden is.
At the same time, collect the important Aura groups:
Wild Hunt — Rudra, Wotan, Artemis, and Finn — for the Talent bonus.
Monster Noir — Eddie, Scarlet, Sam, and Grendel — for the Books bonus.
You do not need to make all of these characters your main Wardens in order to benefit from their Auras.
Most importantly, do not change your strategy every time you obtain a new Warden. During the early and mid game, four carefully chosen and well-developed characters will give you far more opportunities than a large collection of Wardens with only a small amount invested into each of them.
